Doing a low poly optimus prime.
I think this will be it Optimus. Will just add the boring bits like simple joints for posing when I 3D print it.
Modelling something “functional” for 3d printing.
There’s some slight issue with the exported stl from V3D. I tried meters,cm, mm. I ended up with meters for exporting. The cube is my reference model.
So in Cura it would not correctly import the model to scale no matter what I do it’s tiny. In bambuslicer it would scale up the stl and the measurements will be correct. So I export that model in stl and then import to cura and it works.
So there’s something in the stl from V3d that cura has a problem with. Good thing I also use bambuslicer.
So I 3d printed the most “amazing” invention known to mankind. Lol.
Just testing how well V3d can deal with functional 3dprint models.
A few more features and changes and V3d will be so easy to use.
I hope the dev is reading our request. The knife tool needs some enhancements to create multiple edge loops.
Making the door took x10 to do. If I could do multiple edge loops like blender, mood, lightwave I could divide the panels so much faster without using a calculator with the knife tool in V3D.
